What Are Trigger Point Injections?
Trigger points, also known as muscle “knots” can cause pain that radiates into your neck, head, or down your arms when you apply pressure to the area. This occurs with injury or tension and involves the tissue surrounding the muscle sticking together and contracting. We can help this pain by injecting a local anesthetic or Botox into the area. This forces the muscles to relax and improves blood flow to promote healing to the area.

Do They Hurt?
The pain is minimal, as lidocaine is injected into the area. Often times clients leave with immediate relief. It is common to have muscle soreness similar to work out for 3-5 days post treatment.

Why Do I Need It?
This is a great complimentary treatment for those that struggle with chronic musculoskeletal pain. Many of our clients that receive this treatment were getting frequent massage, acupuncture, dry needling, and on many medications without relief.

What Should I Expect to Pay?
Trigger point injects start at $199 for 5 injection sites with lidocaine. It is then $25 for each additional site thereafter. If neurotoxin (“tox”) is used, it is priced by unit (see “Injectables” service).
