  • You may have a sunburnt sensation post treatment. Over the next few days, your pigmentation may appear darker. It is important for you to let these areas flake off on their own and do not exfoliate. You will need to wear sunscreen on the affected area for at least 3 weeks post-treatment, but there is benefit in doing this lifelong to protect your skin.

  • Lumecca has built-in cooling in the hand piece, making it essentially painless with no numbing necessary. In fact, we discourage numbing to ensure safety through maintaining your sensation. We want to know if it hurts!

  • Results vary on the client and their aftercare. There are many variables that impact results such as sun exposure and age. Some clients may require yearly maintenance while some clients do not require any additional maintenance. Wearing SPF and a hat helps to protect your investment.

  • We discourage doing this treatment in the summer months, as you must avoid sun exposure both 3 weeks prior and 3 weeks after treatment. You should also avoid self tanner at least 1 week prior to treatment. Hydroquinone and retinols should be stopped 3 days prior to your treatment. This is all to ensure your safety and prevent burns. You should also wait at least 1 week post neurotoxin (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau) for your treatment.

  • Price varies based on the area treated aftercare options, and number of treatments. IPL to face is starting at $400 per session. Bundled packages of 3 sessions or more receive 10% off total cost. Bundled body areas will also be further discounted.
